So halfway through our week we had a pretty good setup. The PH, salinity, and temperature were all ready to support some life. So, we went back to Tropical Isle Aquarium, in framingham, to purchase some inhabitants for our biocube. After searching through the selection of hundreds of fish we decided on two.
Say hello to Nemo and Gilbert. Our new fishy friends may look familiar to you. They are clown fish and that makes them a great starter fish for an aquarium like ours. Most clown fish are actually tank-raised now and do not come straight from the ocean. Also, tank-bred fish are usually more disease resistant and in general are less affected by stress when introduced to the aquarium. This makes them ideal for our new project.
