Apple Products: To Upgrade Or Not? That Is The Question.

Apple has put a glorious imprint in technology. It feels as though every other person has an iPhone, iPod and/or Apple computer. In reality, Apple products last somewhere between 2 and 5 years (depending on what type of device it is). I have a MacBook Pro that I use everyday since 2007 and it’s still in pretty good condition. The problem is, the fact that it’s an older computer, doesn’t make it as reliable, certainly is outdated and if I needed to get it fixed it would probably cost me a fortune; considering the fact that my warranty has probably ended. So my question is, is it worth the effort to keep fixing the old computer or purchase a new one? Here at your local Boston Nissan dealer, think that if you keep putting your time and effort into a computer that is outdated, it will only cause you more problems in the long run.

A new Macbook Pro costs around $1200 and that’s only for the 13-inch. With all the money spent on trying to fix your old Mac, phone or iPod, you might as well just buy a brand new one. Don’t even try to fix your own Apple. Their products are equipped with their own screws that are unique to only the people who know how to use them. Tampering with it would only cause more problems.

It really depends on the effort and time you’re willing to put in to fix your Apple product. If you want to try and fix it yourself just be aware of the speed bumps you will run into. Apple is always coming out with new products and even more technologically advanced systems. Why not sell the old Apple and buy a new one? Save up some money and get that brand new iPod. It will be worth it in the end.
